I was shocked to read on his blog that Tim Blair has cancer. He is having major surgery so let us hope he stages a full and rapid recovery.

It isn't good for anyone to get cancer
Tim updates today that a CT scan doesn't reveal any spread. He doesn't say what sort of cancer it is except that it's abdominal. I wish him a successful operation and a speedy recovery.
