Economics of alcohol policy
My paper 'The Economist's Way of Thinking About Alcohol Policy' has just been published in Agenda. I continue to work on these issues so comments are very welcome.

I don't have anything useful to say on it, but its amazing how different the approach to alcohol and alcohol abuse is between groups coming from different areas.
Dear Professor Clarke,
This is a very interesting article. I think an economic analysis of alcohol is long overdue. I'm not an economist, but it seems that economics is the "imperial science" i.e. the economics of a social policy play a very strong role in that policy's success.
I hope you publish more like it.
